We are proud members of The Goering Center for Family and Private Business. The Goering Center was founded at the University of Cincinnati with the mission to improve the vitality of family and private firms throughout the region.
Our Foundation
The Clark Insurance Agency was founded in 1950 by James W. Clark Sr. and during the 1970s, Rick Theders worked for a local insurance company as a field representative. Clark’s agency was one of his weekly stops. In 1977, Rick had the opportunity to purchase the agency. He did, and his quest to create an environment that provided quality insurance products and services to clients focusing on core values began. The agency was called Clark-Theders Insurance Agency, Inc., until renamed in 2013 as RiskSOURCE Clark-Theders. In 2023, RiskSOURCE joined OneDigital.
Ed Senour established Senour-Flaherty Insurance in the historic district of downtown Mason. In 1968, he invited Jack Flaherty into the business as a partner. With the addition of Jack and his steadfast commitment to community service, the agency experienced tremendous growth.
In 1986 Jack’s son, Duke Flaherty joined the agency. In 1990, Senour-Flaherty expanded by purchasing the Wright Insurance Agency in Lebanon, Ohio.
In 2004, Mason native Nick Bogan was invited into the agency and served as co-vice president. Nick shares the Flaherty’s commitment and tradition of community involvement. In 2024, Senour-Flaherty Insurance also joined OneDigital.
