RiskSOURCE CARES Committee Raises $2,657

By November 26, 2018December 20th, 2018RiskSOURCE Cares

Recently our CARES Committee launched our 4th quarter initiative benefiting the Wacky Wednesday Program at Mary Helen UMC in Harlan, Kentucky.  This program ministers and serves the needs of youth ranging from middle school through high school.  RiskSOURCE was originally connected to Wacky Wednesday through our teammate, Amanda Shults (her parents help lead the program).

Our staff was split into four team to create amazing baskets and tickets were sold through October for chances to win.  Each basket had a theme from “Love your Family, Love Yourself” to “A European Staycation”.

“We have a ton of fun creating and selling tickets especially since all of the money raised will go to a great group of kids,” said CARES committee member, Noah Goodwin.

Our efforts totaled a donation of $2,657 to help further the mission of Wacky Wednesday.

We had the drawing during our Thanksgiving lunch and are so thankful to all who participated!
