Position Summary/Objective: The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of RiskSOURCE’s brand strategy ensuring all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals through the use of online marketing, email marketing and event management. The position is responsible for supporting the RiskSOURCE sales team playing an important role in prospect research and tracking sales leads. RiskSOURCE operates on a “Purple Cow” mentality. All Marketing Manager responsibilities will align with RiskSOURCE’s vision, mission, and values.

Expectations: 

A. Create highly engaging content marketing campaigns to drive new leads and growth of existing clients 

B. Produce and distribute online and offline content, including, but not limited to, email, social media posts, blogs, and e-newsletters and identify appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report key metrics from digital campaigns 

C. Create and maintain sales materials, presentations and elements required for sales calls and proposals 

D. Maintian the brand integrity, represents the organization in a professional manner and taeks an appropriate leaders role when the opportunity presents itself 

E. Oversee ongoing website updates with Forge3 – collect and analyze web metrics, such as visits, time on site, page views per visit, transaction volume and revenue, traffic mix, click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, or cost per click 

F. Build and execute on, an editorial calendar for email marketing, events, and lead generation-focused automation campaigns relevant to the specified themes 

G. Keep up to date with the latest digital and social media strategies and collaborate with other business departments to generate content 

H. Analyze content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed 

I. Produce internal communications that support the RiskSOURCE culture and values and maintain the Sharepoint intranet site 

J. Coordinate with Risk Advisors to ensure the success of all marketing and sales efforts 

K. Serve as a liaison to appropriate outside vendors and/or contractors 

 

Qualifications & Work Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications 

• A minimum of five years past work experience in a marketing role 

• Experience with research using data analytics software 

• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills 

• Proficient in full Microsoft Office suite 

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, Salesforce and Pardot preferred 

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite 

• Insurance (or other service-based sales process) experience preferred 

• Experience working with budgets and forecasting preferred
