We are well past a month of working remotely, socially distancing and following our stay-at-home order.  Some of us are learning a new way to work, there are those less fortunate who are out of work, and then there are the essential employees who are on the frontline.

We think of the those workers being in healthcare, grocery and delivery services but America is an intricate place and there is actually a long list of industries considered essential.

[Here is the list of ‘essential businesses’ under Ohio’s stay-at-home order – Cincinnati Enquirer]

It’s important to recognize that these businesses carry on while working through the challenges that COVID-19 has delivered.  Restaurants are adapting new business models to stay afloat and the truckers that keep the pipelines full with supplies are traveling through a shuttered world, at times unable to grab a bite on the road or use the restroom.  We’re an insurance company and we’re also considered essential.  We’re here for families, and businesses, through their most difficult and challenging times.  This is no different.

We have a vast amount of resources to help our commercial clients during this time.  Take a look around at our COVID-19 Resource Center for guidebooks and links to online resources.  If you can’t find something you need or if you have a question that’s going unanswered, ask us. As a trusted business partner, we have connections with advisors in other areas of your operations and we will make every effort to link you to the right resource.  We go beyond insurance.  For those essentials, here are some resources that can help.

To all essential businesses, those workers who put themselves out there everyday to help others, thank you for keeping America moving!

Stay safe,
