Position Summary/Objective: The primary responsibility of this position is to establish, maintain, and enhance the relationship between RiskSOURCE Clark-Theders and its clients, serving as liaison between many different members of the client team and RiskSOURCE team to organize and execute plans that are mutually beneficial.

The CRM partners with the Account Manager and Risk Advisors to make certain all service milestones and expectations are being met. Client retention and satisfaction are achieved by leading the renewal and stewardship processes. CRM’s also manage audits and account rounding activities while always acting in accordance with the company’s vision and values. In some instances, the client relations manager may be assigned secondary tasks such as accounts management. The CRM works primarily in an office environment but is also asked to travel to meet with clients.

CRM’s hold a primary role in establishing a strong sales relationship with insurance companies, brokers, and clients. For this reason, the CRM must have exemplary personal skills and a personable demeanor, as well as a deep understanding of mutual goals and individual issues; they must also take a proactive approach to problem solving. Time management skills are also necessary to juggle what will likely be an inconsistent and fluid schedule.

A. Build and develop relationships with clients through consultative, value-based selling strategies and delivering exceptional client service.

B. Collaborate with internal partners to provide client service and operations to maintain a flow of communication and to be a positive contributor in a team environment.

C. Develops, tracks and reports key performance measurements for the account/client.

D. Oversees cross functional work areas targeted to resolve issues raised by clients.

E. Utilize strong time management and organizational skills.

F. Energetic self starter that is flexible, consultative and results oriented.

G. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel and internet navigation.

H. On-site for the first 30-60 days, then hybrid.

Qualifications & Work Experience 

• Prefer four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Insurance license must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment and maintained throughout the course of employment.
• 2-3 years’ experience in insurance or similar industry.
• Demonstrated and proven ability to meet or exceed client retention requirements.
• P & C Commercial insurance coverage knowledge.

5. Demonstrates business acumen, consultative selling skills, and understands value-based selling.
6. Aptitude for necessary computer programs.

Physical Requirements: 

1. This is an office-based position and associates will be in either a seated or standing position for the majority of their work-day at a desk or table. This is a sedentary role.
2. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access resources.
3. Constantly using hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment (copy machine, label machine, etc.)
4. Work takes place in a well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
